Dancing
The Swing Club provides an opportunity for students to dance, socialize, and have fun.  We play music all night so people are free to dance or just socialize.  There are a lot of us who are friendly and willing to teach new people the different dances and new steps.  Beginners are completely welcome!  We often have lessons at the start of the evening and teach a variety of dance styles.
Music
About 90% of the music we play and dancing we do is East Coast Swing or Lindy Hop.  Not familiar with these?  Rent the movie Swing Kids and you'll get the picture.  A lot of the music is 30's & 40's style Big Band and Jazz like Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, & Count Basie.  We also have more modern Neo-swing music including Brian Setzer's Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddys, & The New Morty Show.
Where, When, & How Much
We meet upstairs in the gallery of the Union Building on the campus of Weber State University.  We meet every Tuesday starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 10:00 pm.  We often have dancing lessons between 7:30& 8:00.  Admission and lessons are free!   Occasionally we have free ladies nights or discount dress-up nights.  Check the announcements for these nights.
